On a much lighter note, the Jedi council had an illegal gathering in the cinema while poor Tao-er stucks himself in the hostel desperately mugging for Fmaths. Last paper! Good luck!
Anyway, we walked from Suntec to Prince/Jade at Beach Road to shaw at Bugis before finding the perfect time slot for the screening of the War of the Worlds. Well, it's not so perfect, considering the fact that the movie is at 9:15pm. Everyone was on the verge of collapsing. Well, maybe not every single one of them, but definitely me. Imagine waking at at six in the morning, having two papers in one day, and wearing that uniform for more than 12 hours. Exhausted I say.
My perception of the movie has not changed, albeit after much propaganda from the two anti-Tom Cruise and anti-war of the worlds Jedi members. To me, it's so much better than Initial D. It's worth every cent of my eight bucks. But then again, I can't compare the two movies. The genres are totally different. But standard-wise, War of the Worlds is so much better.
I am quite amused by the fact that some Jedi members can be so affected and perturbed by the slightest details of the movie. For example, why the door is shut since the girl is blindfolded, how Ray (Tom Cruise) killed the man behind the door without weapons etc. haha.
After 2hrs of suspense thrilling action, imagine having to be around someone who jumps up the very moment the credits rolled on the screen, commenting and slamming the movie with that loud voice of his, in front of everyone who was still seating comfortably(or not so) in their seats. Oh man, I wanted to cover my face and die. SSOOOO EMBARASSING. hahahahaha.
What a great way to end off the day. -_-lll
